AKUS is holding the “2023 Youth Art Contest Commemorating the 70th anniversary of the US-Korea alliance,” with support from 30 US AKUS Chapters, AKUS Korea, and the Consulate General of ROK in New York. AKUS 한미연합회는 30개의 지회와 한국 AKUS의 후원으로 “한미동맹 70주년 기념 국제 청소년 미술대전을 실시합니다.The theme of the art contest is “The US-Korea Alliance.” 본대회의 주제는 “한미동맹”입니다.

Purpose of the Contest 대회 목적
The contest aims to provide children with insights and knowledge about the ties and shared values between the U.S. and Korea. Investing in creative talent in the US and Korea strengthens cultural exchange and fosters stronger partnerships between the two nations.
본 대회는 대한민국과 미국, 양국의 끈끈한 유대와 신뢰를 차세대에게 알리고 교육하는데 목적을 둡니다. 진취적이고 창조적인 사고를 표현할 수 있는 미래의 예술 꿈나무를 발굴하고 길러내서 미래 한미동맹을 발전시키고자 합니다.
본 대회는 대한민국과 미국, 양국의 끈끈한 유대와 신뢰를 차세대에게 알리고 교육하는데 목적을 둡니다. 진취적이고 창조적인 사고를 표현할 수 있는 미래의 예술 꿈나무를 발굴하고 길러내서 미래 한미동맹을 발전시키고자 합니다.

Target 참가대상 (U.S.A. and South Korea): K -12th graders (유치원-고등학교 3학년)
Three entry groups 심사방식: 1) K – 4th grade (초등부); 2) 5th – 8th grade (중등부); 3) 9th - 12th grade (고등부)
